Terms and Conditions – «BBQ World Cup» Contest»

1. Organizer

The contest is organized by:

The contest is taking place at gas stations ESSO OneStop participants.

2. Contest Duration

The contest begins on June 11, 2026. Starting on that date, entry boxes will be set up at participating ESSO onestop gas stations. The deadline for entry is July 12, 2026, by the closing time of the participating gas station in question. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered. The drawing to select the winner will take place on July 13, 2026 by an internal selection committee at Petro-Center S.A.'s headquarters in Leudelange.

3. Terms and Conditions of Participation

The contest is open to individuals 18 years of age or older. Employees of Petro-Center S.A. and participating ESSO onestop stations, as well as their immediate family members, are excluded from participation. Participation is free and requires no purchase. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple, incomplete, or illegible entries may be excluded from the contest.

4. Terms and Conditions for Participation

To enter, participants must correctly answer the question on the flyer. The entry form must be filled out with the participant’s last name, first name, and email address, then dropped into one of the designated drop boxes at a participating ESSO onestop gas station. Only entry forms with the correct answer will be entered into the drawing. The correct answer as determined by the organizer is final.

An email address is required so that we can contact the winner if they win. The organizer cannot be held responsible if the participant enters an incorrect email address, nor if the email is not received due to technical issues beyond the organizer’s control. In addition, participants may voluntarily opt in to receive the ESSO onestop newsletter by checking the box provided for this purpose on the flyer. The newsletter provides information via email about offers, promotions, new products, services, and contests from ESSO onestop and Petro-Center S.A.

Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and is not a requirement for entering the contest. The odds of winning remain the same regardless of whether the participant agrees to receive the newsletter.

5. Allocation

The prizes up for grabs are as follows:

1^er Price: 1 Napoleon Freestyle 365 Grill

2^th Price: 1 Martini suitcase                                                                                  

3^th  – 5^th Price: 1 Martini Negroni Bitter & Riserva Speciale set                      

6^th  – 10^th Prize: 1 Onestop gift card worth 50€.

The prize cannot be redeemed for cash, exchanged, or transferred to another person. The organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with an equivalent prize if it is unavailable.

6. Selection and Notification of the Winner

The winner will be selected by random drawing on July 13, 2026 by an internal jury from among all valid entries that include the correct answer. The winner will be notified by email after the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 7 calendar days of the informational email being sent, the organizer reserves the right to conduct a new drawing to select an alternate winner.

7. Award Withdrawal

The prize can be picked up starting on July 15, 2026 at the following address:

The prize must be claimed by appointment. The winner must present a valid form of identification at the time of claim. If the prize is not claimed within 30 calendar days after the winner is notified, the right to the prize will be forfeited. In this case, the organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

8. Photo and Publication

By entering the contest, the participant agrees that, if they win, a photo of the winner will be taken during the prize presentation. The winner agrees that this photo, along with their first and/or last name, may be published as part of communications related to the contest and the award ceremony, including on social media, the website, and other communication channels of Petro-Center S.A. Such publication is related to communications regarding the contest and the award ceremony. The taking and publication of the photograph remain subject to the winner’s prior written consent.

9. Privacy and Data Use

As part of the contest, Petro-Center S.A. collects and processes participants’ personal data, including their last name, first name, and email address. This data is processed for the purpose of organizing the contest, verifying the validity of entries, selecting and notifying the winner, and arranging for the prize to be awarded.

If the participant actively checks the box for the newsletter on the flyer, the email address provided will also be used to send the ESSO onestop newsletter. The processing of data for the purpose of sending the newsletter is based on the participant’s explicit consent.

The newsletter may contain information about offers, promotions, products, services, new items, and contests from ESSO onestop and Petro-Center S.A.

Consent to receive the newsletter may be withdrawn at any time, effective for the future. You can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting Petro-Center S.A. Withdrawing consent to receive the newsletter does not affect participation in the contest. Participants who do not check the box for the newsletter will not be added to the newsletter mailing list. In this case, their email address will be used for the purposes of organizing the contest. Personal data will not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties. Disclosure may only occur if it is necessary for the organization of the contest, for sending the newsletter, or pursuant to a legal obligation. Data collected in connection with the contest will be deleted no later than twelve months after the contest ends, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it or the participant has consented to receive the newsletter. In accordance with applicable data protection regulations, participants have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and transfer their personal data, as well as the right to object to the processing of their personal data.

10. Disqualification from the Contest

Any attempt to enter using multiple identities, email addresses, or any other means intended to circumvent the one-entry-per-person limit will result in immediate disqualification from the contest.

11. Modification or Cancellation of the Contest

The organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time for important reasons, particularly if the smooth running of the contest cannot be guaranteed due to technical, legal, or organizational reasons.

12. Liability

The organizer shall not be held liable for entry forms that are submitted late, lost, damaged, incomplete, or illegible. The organizer assumes no liability for any damages resulting from the use of the prize, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

13. Appeal

This contest is governed by Luxembourg law.

14. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

Participation in the contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.

15. Participating «ESSO-onestop» stations

Allerborn, Bascharage, Differdange, Dudelange, Echternach, Esch/Alzette (Ch. de Gaulle Blvd. Ch. de Gaulle), Esch/Alzette (Terre Rouge), Frisange, Gaichel, Heiderscheid, Larochette, Leudelange, Martelange, Mertert, Pontpierre, Remerschen, Remich, Rodange, Rosport, Sandweiler, Senningerberg, and Steinfort.

 

Participation in the contest is limited exclusively to customers of participating ESSO onestop stations. Employees of Petro-Center S.A., PC-Tank S.A., and participating ESSO onestop stations are not eligible to participate. Any entry submitted by an unauthorized person will be disqualified from the contest; any potential right to a prize will be forfeited.

Participation is free and not contingent on a purchase. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries, as well as incomplete or illegible entry forms, may be disqualified from the contest.

4. Participation Process

To participate, entrants must correctly answer the question listed on the flyer. The entry form must be filled out with the entrant’s last name, first name, and email address, and then dropped into one of the designated boxes at a participating ESSO onestop gas station.

Only entry forms with the correct answer will be entered into the drawing. The correct answer, as determined by the organizer, is what counts.

6. Determining and Notifying the Winner

The winner will be announced on July 13, 2026 The winner will be selected at random by an internal jury from among all valid entries with the correct answer. The winner will be notified by email after the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 7 calendar days After the notification email has been sent, the organizer reserves the right to conduct another drawing to select an alternate winner.

7. Claiming the Prize

The prize must be picked up by appointment. The winner must present a valid form of identification when picking up the prize.

8. Photos and Publication

Participants who do not check the box for the newsletter will not be added to the newsletter mailing list. In this case, their email address will be used for the purposes of organizing the contest. Personal data will not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties. Disclosure may only occur if it is necessary for conducting the contest, sending the newsletter, or due to a legal obligation. The organizer is not liable for entry forms that are submitted late, lost, damaged, incomplete, or illegible. The organizer assumes no liability for damages arising from the use of the prize, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

13. Legal Remedies

This contest is governed by Luxembourg law.
