I'm a private individual. Can I get a BESTCHARGE badge?
Yes, individuals can obtain a BESTCHARGE Badge.
All you need to do is send a request by email to contact@bestcharge.lu. The badge is not available for purchase at gas stations.
How do I activate my BESTCHARGE CARD?
To activate your BESTCHARGE CARD, download the dedicated mobile app available at Google Play Store and the’App Store. Create an account, set up a secure payment method, and then provide us with your BESTCHARGE card number (located on the back of the card) by phone at +352 263 727 401 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or by email contact@bestcharge.lu to complete the activation. You can then start charging your vehicle at over 850,000 charging stations across Europe.
Where can I buy the BESTCHARGE CARD in Luxembourg?
The BESTCHARGE CARD is available for purchase exclusively at Participating Petro-Center gas stations in Luxembourg. It is sold for a one-time price of €15 (including tax), with no subscription required. Check out the interactive map on our website to find the station nearest you.
What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?
If your BESTCHARGE CARD is lost or stolen, please contact our customer service department immediately +352 263 727 401 in order to deactivate the card and prevent any fraudulent use. A replacement card may be requested under the same conditions as the original purchase, in accordance with current policy.
How does the BESTCHARGE CARD work?
The BESTCHARGE CARD is an RFID card that gives you access to over 850,000 electric vehicle charging stations across Europe. Simply hold your card up to the charging station’s reader, and your charging session will start automatically.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
No, there is no monthly subscription fee for the BESTCHARGE CARD. You pay €15 (including tax) for the card, and then you only pay for what you use during your charging sessions, with transparent billing and no hidden fees.
How long will it take to receive my BESTCHARGE CARD?
If you are an individual, you can obtain your card by purchasing it at one of our gas stations in Luxembourg.
If you are a business customer, once your application has been approved, your card is usually shipped within 2 to 3 business days.
How can I find out the rates for charging stations?
The rates for each charging station are available directly in our mobile app. You can check the price per kWh before starting your charging session to avoid any surprises.
Does the BESTCHARGE CARD work abroad?
Yes, the BESTCHARGE CARD is designed for use throughout Europe. It is compatible with most charging networks in over 30 European countries, making it the ideal solution for your cross-border trips.
