Your BESTCHARGE charging rate is going down on July 1!

BESTCHARGE is lowering its rates: Charge your vehicle for less starting July 1, 2026.

Good news for all electric vehicle drivers in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

Effective July 1, 2026, we are significantly lowering our DC charging rates. The price will drop from €0.69/kWh (including tax) to €0.53/kWh (including tax), representing a reduction of more than 20 %. This decision reflects our commitment to offering fast charging that is accessible to everyone in a rapidly evolving market.

Why the price drop?

Didier Mele, Director of E-Mobility at the Petro-Center Group, explains: «Electric mobility in Luxembourg is growing rapidly, and with it, the number of public charging stations. Since 2022, when the first station was installed in Remerschen, BESTCHARGE has invested heavily and continues to invest in developing the Grand Duchy’s most extensive fast-charging network. By the end of this summer, we will celebrate our 200th fast-charging station with a power output exceeding 50 kW and reaching up to 400 kW. »Today, thanks to the financial investment we’ve made, our network has reached a level of maturity that allows us to pass on the benefits of this growth directly to our rates.”

There are three specific reasons for this revision:

1. Optimizing Our Network Costs

As our network expands and becomes more robust, we benefit from better terms on our infrastructure and network costs. These savings are directly reflected in the price per kWh at the charging station.

2. Network Maturity Achieved in Luxembourg

BESTCHARGE is now the leading provider of fast charging in the Grand Duchy. This position allows us to offer more competitive rates while maintaining the quality and reliability of our service.

3. Attracting New Drivers to Fast Charging

Our goal is to make fast charging second nature for all electric vehicle drivers in Luxembourg and those passing through, just like filling up with gas. More affordable pricing is a key factor in achieving this.

What are our new rates?

Starting July 1, 2026, our charging rate will be 0.53 €/kWh (including tax) at all our charging stations rated at 50 kW or higher. The rate will be the same whether you pay by credit card or through a BESTCHARGE account. These new rates will also apply at most of our partner locations.
